We offer treatment for ice pick, rolling, boxcart, and keloid scarring
In-Office Treatments We Use
Fractional & Ablative Lasers
Improve texture, depth, and coloration in atrophic and hypertrophic scars. Strong clinical evidence supports improvement after a series of sessions.¹
Microneedling / RF Microneedling
Ideal for pitted acne scars (ice-pick, rolling, boxcar). Stimulates collagen to gradually smooth depressions.¹
Types of scars and those that We Treat
Scars form when the skin repairs an injury with new collagen.
Types:
Atrophic scars: depressed scars from acne or trauma.¹
Hypertrophic scars: raised scars that stay within the wound.³
Keloids: raised scars that grow beyond the original injury; more common in darker skin tones.⁴
Results & Timelines
Atrophic scars: visible improvement after 3–6 sessions of microneedling or laser over several months.¹
Hypertrophic/keloid scars: steroid or 5-FU injections often soften thickness and firmness within 1–3 treatments.⁵
Laser therapy: proven long-term improvement in texture and discoloration when appropriately selected for scar type and skin tone.⁶
Our multi-faceted Approach for best results
The most effective results come from combining treatments:
Control active acne/irritation
Use in-office procedures together (laser + microneedling + injections)
Add topical support when needed
